November 2011 - Safety First: Our VB Site Team on the Pearl Qatar achieved 2,000,000 man hours without a LTI (Lost Time Incident).
October 2011 - Members of the Interserve Plc board, including Lord Normal Blackwell and CEO Norman Ringrose have visited HUS. They participated in a presentation and a business review.
October 2011 - HUS has been awarded construction of East Apron Transfer Baggage facilities at Doha International Airport.
October 2011 - Facilities Management contract covering all the buildings, systems and equipment within the shipyard has been started at Nakilat.
October 2011 - HUS has achieved key safety objectives for 2011 when it received the OHSAS 18001; 2007 accreditation from Bureau Veritas Quality International.
September 2011 - HUS Health & Safety department staff took part in a fire marshal training course by British Safety Services Co. The course covered both emergency and non emergency issues.
August 2011 - Fasting staff participated in an Iftar gathering, where generous fast has been offered, thanks to our Deputy G.M., Bassam El Masri. Close to 400 people took part in an Isha prayer and Iftar meal at the HUS labour camp.
August 2011 - Qatar Power at Ras Laffan has renewed the HUS maintenance contract, thus demonstrating true appreciation for the quality of our work.
August 2011 - HUS became an accredited member of the MEFMA (Middle East Facilities Management Association), a non-profit association serving GCC markets. MEFMA provides its members with opportunities such as networking, training and professional development.
